Berry Chia Seed Pudding

Looking for a healthy and quick snack that will leave you feeling full and satisfied? This chia seed pudding not only looks beautiful but is a great snack to make ahead of time.

This chia seed pudding is packed with multiple health benefits. The blueberries and blackberries are loaded with fiber and antioxidants where the coconut milk is full of healthy fats . But the star of this dish is the chia seeds. Chia seeds are high in protein, iron, fiber and healthy fats.

Just 2 Tbsp of chia seeds which is only 120 calories contains:

Protein – 5 grams

Fiber– 16 grams

Iron– 1.7 mg

Who knew these small little seeds had so much good stuff packed inside of them! Although, I just named all of the great health benefits of these chia seeds I didn’t even get to the best part of the recipe, which is how EASY it is to make.

To make the chia seed pudding you will combine the chia seeds, agave syrup, vanilla,  coconut milk and stir. In a separate bowl use a fork to smash the blueberries making a blueberry puree. Combine the blueberry puree with the chia seed pudding, mix, cover, and let it sit for 6 or more hours so it can thicken.

After the 6 hours take the chia seed pudding out of the bowl and divide into small jars. Top with blueberries, blackberries and yogurt and serve. Chia seed pudding also taste wonderful when topped with homemade granola and coconut flakes.

Chia Seed Pudding

  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp agave or maple syrup
  • ½ cup blueberries


  • 1/3 cup blackberries
  • ⅓ cup blueberries
  • 1 cup vanilla coconut yogurt


  1. In a bowl combine milk, chia seeds, vanilla, and agave syrup together and set aside.
  2. Using your fork smash the blueberries making a fruit puree.
  3. Combine the blueberry puree with your chia seed pudding and mix once more.
  4. Cover pudding and place in your fridge for at least 6 hours.
  5. Divide chia seed pudding into 2 cups. Top with yogurt, blackberries and blueberries and serve.
  6. Leftovers will last up to 4 to 5 days in the fridge when covered.

Make it Your Own

  • Add additional toppings to your chia seed pudding. Some of my favorites include coconut flakes, granola, and sliced almonds.
  • Not a huge fan of blueberries? Puree any kind of fruit to add to your pudding
  • Want your chia seed pudding to be more sweet? Add additional maple or agave syrup .
