Orange Bundt Cake

This Orange Bundt Cake is soft, fluffy and tender. The cake is simple to make and only includes vegan and soy free ingredients.

I have always loved anything citrus. Lemons, limes, oranges, you name it! So when I saw these beautiful oranges at the grocery store I knew I wanted to make something with them. Not only are oranges filled with antioxidants and vitamin c but have these wonderful sweet and sour taste.

One thing that I love about this Orange Bundt Cake is that you can taste the orange and vanilla flavor but it doesn’t overpower the cake. It is just enough that you can tell that there are oranges infused but not a overwhelming amount. I also used dairy free yogurt and coconut milk making the cake moist and fluffy.

To make this bundt cake you are first going to preheat the oven to 350 degree fahrenheit. You want to grease your bundt cake pan to ensure that your cake will not stick to the pan when it is baked. If you do not have a bundt cake pan you can use a loaf pan instead.

In a large bowl you will combine the softened butter, dairy free yogurt, plant milk, fresh squeezed orange juice, orange extract, and vanilla together and whisk. In seperate bowl add the baking powder, baking soda, flour, salt and sugar together and mix.

Combine both the dry and wet ingredients together in a bowl and whisk together. A electric hand mixer works best to ensure all clumps are mixed however,  if you do not have a electric hand mixer a whisk will also work.

Pour cake batter into the greased bundt cake pan and bake for 60- 65 minutes. Take bundt cake out of the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes take the cake out of the pan and let cool on a rack for an additional 10 minutes. Add icing, oranges or orange zest. Eat and enjoy!

If you make this recipe I would love if you would snap a photo of your food and share it with me on instagram I can’t wait to see how you like it!

Make it Your Own

  • Don’t have a bundt cake pan? A loaf pan works just as well as a bundt cake.
  • Any sugar will work for this cake, though I used white cane sugar
